Overview

Raising a child comes with no rule book. Raising a child with neurodiversity brings its own challenges and difficulties. This short session will explore how we can find what supports our neurodiverse children (including adult children) and what brilliant skills your child may have to focus their energies and celebrate who they are.

Facilitator
Teddy Cannon

Hi I'm Teddy, I'm one of Newham Recovery College's peer tutors - I'm really delighted to be part of the team. As someone that has had my own challenges with my mental health journey I find teaching the courses and connecting with the community very rewarding. Personally, I like to travel with my partner and step-son, walk my dog and look after my two cats - I'm an animal lover. I like listening to music and attending concerts and musicals. I also enjoy yoga, gong baths, reading and watching sci-fi movies and crime documentaries.
