This day long workshop will explore the process of living positively and well during and after diagnosis/diagnoses, through creativity & discussion. Led by experts in lived experience and clinical work, students will work towards exploring their own understanding and find steps to move forward after the diagnosis/diagnoses.
Hi I'm Teddy, I'm one of Newham Recovery College's peer tutors - I'm really delighted to be part of the team. As someone that has had my own challenges with my mental health journey I find teaching the courses and connecting with the community very rewarding. Personally, I like to travel with my partner and step-son, walk my dog and look after my two cats - I'm an animal lover. I like listening to music and attending concerts and musicals. I also enjoy yoga, gong baths, reading and watching sci-fi movies and crime documentaries.
I love the beach and time with my friends and family. I have two cats called Stanley and Allen, and love nothing better than watching rugby, especially watching Italy winning (doesn't happen often). I speak Italian and enjoy travelling and meeting new people.
